In In 2003 Arlyne and Ed took their 29 ft 5th wheel to Alaska and had a fabulous trip. This year they are going back, but in an 11 ft slide-in truck camper instead of a 5th wheel. Their general plan is to cross into Canada at Sault Ste. Marie( OK, that’s now scratched, instead we are going along the Upper Peninsula of Michigan into Wisconsin and Minnesota and then up to Canada at Winnipeg ), head up to the Northwest Territories to Yellowknife and then back down through British Columbia, the Yukon and then into Alaska. On the way home we are hoping to take the ferry from Anchorage down the inside passage to Vancouver Island and then cross over to the mainland and head towards Banff.
